Located just 10 miles north of downtown Chicago, Evanston is an upscale municipality in Cook County, Illinois.

Once Evanston residents reach high school, they will typically enter the Evanston Township High School District 202, which includes Evanston Township High School. Superintendent Eric Witherspoon currently presides over this school of 3,000 students.
